We are based at 1/124 in Kalakanmai, which is a small area in Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu. It’s a quiet place, far away from the noise of the big cities. The name on our door is a bit long, Marketingandrelationshipexecutive, but we are just a small team of three people. We work out of a modest office that used to be part of a larger house. It’s got simple white walls and a few desks we bought second-hand. We handle marketing tasks and help people stay in touch with their clients. It’s mostly computer work and a lot of phone calls. The internet connection can be a bit slow out here sometimes, but we’ve learned to be patient with it. We don't have a big corporate mission or anything like that. We just want to help the businesses that come to us. Most of our clients are locals or people from the surrounding districts who need help getting their names out there. We take a long break in the afternoon when the sun is at its hottest because it’s hard to stay focused in the heat. Then we work a bit later into the evening when it’s cooler. It’s a relaxed way of doing things, but the work always gets done. We don’t have any fancy brochures about ourselves. If someone wants to know what we do, they usually just come by for a chat and a cup of tea. It’s a small-town business and we really like the personal feel of it.
