Malligai Traders

We are situated at 10, Bridge Way Colony Extension. It is quite close to the railway station, so you can always hear the trains pulling in and out. The noise from the Bridge Colony area is constant, but you get used to it after a week. Malligai Traders is a small space filled with a lot of things. Narayanaswamy Nagar is a busy neighborhood and we see a lot of commuters rushing past our door. Some stop in because they forgot something at the bigger market. The floor is concrete and cold, which is nice in the summer. We have a few shelves that are a bit crooked. I built them myself years ago and they are still holding up. The lighting isn't great, especially when the clouds come over. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and writing down what we need to get from the wholesalers. It is a lot of work for one person, but I have a helper who comes in the afternoons. He is a bit slow but he is honest. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a regular shop for regular people in the colony. Most of our customers have been coming here since we opened. Sometimes the train whistle is so loud we have to stop talking for a second. It is just part of life at Bridge Way Colony.
