Malar Metal Cutting

Our shop is over at 96/1 in Elango Nagar-Avarampalayam. We are located near the Rydon Company, which is a big landmark in this part of Coimbatore. This isn’t a salon or a barber shop; we do metal cutting here. It’s a loud place with the sound of saws and grinders going all day. There is always metal dust on the floor and the smell of oil in the air. We’ve got some heavy machinery that we’ve been using for years. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty and greasy within five minutes of starting the shift. We cut different types of metal pieces based on what the local workshops need. Sometimes it’s small orders, other times it’s a bit more for the bigger projects around town. The building is just a simple shed structure, really. It gets very hot inside during the summer months in Coimbatore, but we just drink plenty of water and keep working through it. We don't have an office or a fancy waiting room with chairs. If you come by, you’ll probably find us wearing our work clothes and busy with a machine. We aren't big on talking much while the machines are running because you can't hear anything over the screeching metal anyway. It’s just straight, honest labor. We’ve been in this spot in Avarampalayam for quite a while now and everyone around here knows what we do.
