Malabar Super Market

Our shop, Malabar Super Market, is located at No 71/1 in Karunanithi Nagar. We’re tucked away a bit behind the Sungam Chinthamani on Trichy Road in Ramanathapuram. Even though we call it a super market, it’s got a very local feel to it. We try to keep a wide range of things so people don't have to go to five different places to finish their shopping. You can find groceries, some plastic items, and basic home needs here. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the aisles we've set up, but we think that’s part of the charm. We’ve been in Coimbatore for a while, and this location works well for the families living in the nearby apartments. We are just a group of people working together to keep the shelves full. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the power goes out, but we just deal with those things as they come. It's not a polished corporate environment. You might see us eating lunch in the back or chatting with a regular customer for twenty minutes about nothing in particular. We just try to be ourselves and provide what the neighborhood needs. The floors might have a few scuff marks and the signage is a bit old, but the heart is there. We open early and stay open until fairly late to make sure people can get what they need after work. It’s just a normal part of life.
