Mahaveer Stores

Our shop is on Avarampalayam Road in Peelamedu, specifically at 345/6. We are located very close to ABC School, so we get a lot of noise and energy from the kids when they are let out for the day. It’s a busy little area. Mahaveer Stores has been a fixture here for some time. We aren’t a big supermarket, just a local store where you can find the essentials. The space inside is a bit cramped because we try to stock as much as we can. We spend our days lifting boxes, weighing out items, and talking to the people from the neighborhood. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a website or any fancy technology. We just write things down and keep track of what we have on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of things and have to tell customers to come back tomorrow, and they usually don't mind. Peelamedu is a nice place to work. You see the same faces year after year, and you watch the kids from the school grow up. The traffic on Avarampalayam Road can be a bit much during peak hours, but that's just city life for you. We keep the shop open late most days to make sure everyone can get what they need after work. It’s not about making a huge name for ourselves. We just want to keep the doors open and provide for the local community as best as we can.
