Madhuram Industries

Madhuram Industries is located on the Bavla-Sanand Road in Bavla. It’s a bit outside the main city of Ahmedabad, in the Sanand taluka. The road is a major one, so we see a lot of traffic and big trailers going past all day. Our facility is a plain industrial shed where we do our manufacturing work. It gets quite windy out here because there aren't many tall buildings around us yet. We have a fairly simple setup with our machinery and some storage space for raw materials. The workers mostly come from the nearby villages or take the bus from the city. We don't have any elaborate office space or a glass front. It’s just a place with a tin roof and concrete floors. We spend a lot of time maintaining the machines and making sure the production line keeps moving. The sun hits the building hard in the afternoon, so we usually take a longer break when it's at its hottest. We have a small gate and a watchman who stays in a tiny cabin at the entrance. It is a quiet existence compared to the city, but we are always busy with something. We don't do much in terms of promotion. We just stay here on the Bavla-Sanand Road and keep working on our orders as they come in. That’s just the way we operate our little industry here in Sanand.
