Lucky Star Driving School

Running Lucky Star Driving School right on Trichy Road keeps us on our toes. We are positioned just opposite RVS College in Sulur, which means we get a lot of young people coming in between their classes. It’s a busy stretch of road, probably one of the busiest around here, so there is never a quiet moment. We’ve been here in Coimbatore for a good while, and our office at number 245 is a familiar sight for the locals. You can usually see our cars pulling out into the traffic all through the day. We don't do anything flashy. The cars are well-used because that’s the reality of teaching people how to shift gears and use the brakes. Some students come in thinking it’s going to be easy, and others are so scared they can barely hold the steering wheel. We just take it slow. Being right across from the college means there’s always a lot of foot traffic and chatter. We keep a few plastic chairs for people to wait on, and the walls are covered with some old maps and posters about road signs. It gets hot in the afternoons, but the breeze from the road keeps things moving. We just try to be helpful and get through the paperwork without too much trouble. It’s a simple life here in Sulur, just teaching one person at a time how to navigate the roads safely.
