Little Elly Pre School

Down here at 17, Sivasakthi Nagar on Thudiyalur Road, things get pretty noisy early on. Being a preschool in Saravanampatti means we deal with a lot of energy from the little ones. Little Elly is tucked away in a spot that’s easy to find once you know the neighborhood. Coimbatore can be busy, but our little corner feels a bit more like a community. We have colorful walls, though they have a few scuffs here and there from toys being thrown around. The staff spends a lot of time picking up plastic blocks and making sure nobody has lost a shoe. It isn't a silent place by any means. There is usually someone crying or someone laughing or some music playing from one of the classrooms. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just us teachers and the helpers making sure the snacks are ready on time. The parents usually stop for a quick chat at the gate when they drop their kids off. It feels very local. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but we just put out the mats and keep going. We like the sunlight that comes into the front rooms in the morning. It’s just a simple place for kids to spend their day while their parents are at work in the city. We don't try to be anything too grand, just a safe spot for the neighborhood children.
