Lavanya Driving School

We are located right on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore, specifically across from Hope College at No. 151. It is a busy stretch of road, which is actually good for people learning to drive because they get used to the traffic early on. My family and I have been running this school for quite some time now. We usually start our day early, getting the cars cleaned and ready before the first student arrives. Most people around here know us by name. We don't have a big office with fancy air conditioning; it is just a simple place where we keep the records and talk to parents. Teaching someone to drive takes a lot of patience, especially when they are nervous about the gears or the clutch. We take the cars out around the college area and the nearby lanes. It is honest work and we like seeing someone finally get their license after a few weeks of practice. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult on Avinashi Road, but we try to stick to the schedule. If you are looking for the shop, just look for the sign near the college gate. We are usually there from morning until evening, unless we are out on a lesson with a student. It’s a straightforward business and we try to keep it that way for everyone who walks in. It helps to be right across from Hope College because we get many young people who want to learn.
