Lakshmi Store

Lakshmi Store has been part of Ram Nagar for quite a while. You can find us over at 57/59 V N Thottam on Patel Road, not too far from the 7th Day School. It’s a quiet enough spot, though things pick up when the school kids are around or when people are heading home from work. We mostly stock the basic things that households around here run out of. Milk, snacks, and the usual pantry items are what keep us busy. The shop isn't huge, so we have to make the most of the space we have. Sometimes it feels a bit crowded when more than three people are inside at once, but we manage. My family helps out with the shifts, so there is always someone here to help. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things, just the physical shop where you can come and talk to us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, with new buildings going up and families moving in and out. Still, we try to keep things steady. It’s simple work, but it keeps us connected to everyone on Patel Road. We don’t really advertise because most people just know where we are. If the lights are on, we are open for business. Dealing with suppliers can be a headache sometimes, but that’s just part of running a small store in Coimbatore. We just keep going, day by day.
