L & L Polyclinic

L & L Polyclinic sits right at number 15 on Chettipalayam Road in Malumichampatty. It’s a busy little stretch of road, and we see a lot of people passing through every single day. The clinic isn't huge, but it's got enough space for what we need to do. We usually start pretty early in the morning when the first few people show up at the door. It’s a local place, so we often recognize the families who come in. There’s always someone sitting in the waiting area, and the sound of the ceiling fans is a constant backdrop to our conversations. Working in Malumichampatty means being part of a growing neighborhood. We’ve seen the shops around us change over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. The staff is mostly local folks who don’t mind the long hours. We don’t use a lot of complicated words to describe what we do. It’s just about being there when someone needs help. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded and loud, especially on Monday mornings, but we manage to get through it. We try to keep things organized, even if the paperwork piles up on the desk sometimes.
