L & D Power Systems

L & D Power Systems has its shop at number 84 on Maruthamalai Main Road. We are situated right near Bharathiyar University, so there’s always a lot of students and university staff moving around the area. We work on power systems, mostly things like industrial batteries and backup UPS units. It’s the kind of work where your hands get a bit dirty from the grease and lead, but that’s fine with us. We’ve been in this specific location for quite some time now. The building isn't brand new, but it’s sturdy and gives us enough room for all the heavy equipment and chargers we have to move around. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town, and that’s when everyone remembers they need to come talk to us about a backup. We aren't fancy people who wear ties to work. We wear our work clothes and spend our time testing circuits or fixing broken units on the workbench. The main road can be quite noisy with all the buses and cars going to the university, but you get used to the sound after a while. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us or making us look more important than we are. We just tell people honestly what’s wrong with their power setup and how we can fix it. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know the machines. We keep things simple.
