Kutty Nellai Stores

Kutty Nellai Stores is over in Palaniammal Layout in the V.O.C. Nagar part of Edayarpalayam. It’s a residential pocket in Coimbatore where things move a bit slower than in the main city. Our store is tucked away on a street where most of the customers are our own neighbors. We carry the basic groceries and household items that people need for their kitchens. The shop isn't fancy at all; we have simple wooden shelves and a stone floor that we sweep every morning. We don't have big bright lights or any of that modern store feel. It’s more of a place where you can come in and have a quick word while you wait for your change. We spend most of our time keeping track of what’s running low and talking to the people who drop by. The Edayarpalayam area is quite nice, and we’ve seen many families grow up around here. Our stock comes in once or twice a week, and that’s usually our busiest time because we have to haul all the bags and boxes inside. It’s just us running the place, so there’s always something to do, whether it's dusting the packets or counting the stock. We don't make any big promises, we just keep the doors open and the shelves as full as we can. It is a humble way to work and we are happy with it.
