Kudumbashree Broiler Farmers' Producercompany Limited

We are located on the first floor of Merlin Villa. It is in Rajiv Nagar, and the address is a bit of a mouthful with all the TC numbers and the RNRA codes. Basically, we are a group of broiler farmers working together under the Kudumbashree umbrella. It is a producer company, which just means we all pool our efforts. The office does not have much in the way of luxury. Just a few plastic chairs and a big wooden table for our meetings. We talk a lot about chickens, the price of feed, and how the sheds are holding up. It is a real community thing. Most of us are locals from around here. We do not have a big boss in a suit. We just have a manager who keeps the books straight. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded and hot when all the farmers come in at once for a meeting. We talk loudly and drink a lot of water. Merlin Villa is a decent building, though it is tucked away a bit from the main road. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the different poultry farms in our network. It is about making sure the birds are healthy and the farmers get a fair deal for their hard work. We are not doing this to get rich, just to keep our livelihoods going. It is honest work and very local.
