Shri Aiylaa Chickens Private Limited. We operate out of an apartment building, specifically T-4 in the Anokhi Apartment on Thondamuthur Road. It’s in the Vadavalli area. It might seem a bit strange to have a chicken business headquartered in an apartment, but it works for us. Most of our actual work happens elsewhere, but this is where we handle the books and the phone calls. Vadavalli is a nice part of town, a bit quieter than the main city center. We spend our time managing the chicken supply and talking to the farms. Thondamuthur Road is usually busy with people going back and forth. We don’t have a big storefront with neon signs. It’s just a quiet office where we get the work done. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we are doing, but we just keep to ourselves. Handling chickens is a 24/7 job even if you are just doing the admin side. There's always a delivery to track or a price change to deal with. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a big corporate building. We just need a desk and a phone. It’s a small team here, and we all do a bit of everything. From checking invoices to calling the drivers, there’s never a dull moment. We like it this way. It feels more personal when you are working from a place like Vertris. It’s just how we decided to set things up for now.
