Roosters The

The Roosters is a small place located at 2/12 on Padi Medu Street. We’re in the Gadhi Sali area, which is a bit of an older part of town with narrow streets and lots of local shops. Our building is nothing out of the ordinary, just a simple structure on a street that gets quite busy with people walking and bikes zooming past. We spend our days here just managing the daily tasks that come with running a place like this. It’s not a polished environment by any means. There’s usually some clutter on the counters and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We’ve got a routine down where we open up at the same time every morning and start setting things up. The street can be quite noisy with vendors calling out and neighbors chatting, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. Padi Medu Street has its own character, and we’re just one small part of it. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or anything like that. Most of our day is spent talking to people who drop in or handling the inventory we have on hand. It’s a straightforward life here. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. It’s a bit cramped inside, but we’ve learned how to move around each other without much trouble. We just do the work.
