If you find yourself walking down Subramanium Road, you might see us. V K S Farms has been operating from this location for quite some time now. It’s a straightforward setup. We don’t go in for anything too flashy because the farming business doesn’t really need it. Most of our day involves talking to people about land, crops, and what needs to be planted next. There’s always a bit of dust on the boots and a lot of talk about the rain. Sometimes the road gets busy with trucks or people moving goods, and we are right there in the middle of it. We have a small group of people working here who really understand how the soil works and what the plants need. It’s more about the practical side of things rather than sitting in air-conditioned rooms all day. We keep our records in order and make sure the farm operations are running as they should. The sun usually hits the front of the building pretty hard in the morning, so we start early to get the bulk of the work done before it gets too hot. It is the kind of place where you can just walk in and talk to someone without a bunch of formalities. We focus on the daily chores and making sure the farming cycles stay on track without too much fuss.
