Km Stores

Km Stores is located inside the Palaniammal Complex in Vasantham Nagar, Kovaipudur. We are quite close to VLB College, so we get a lot of students coming in for snacks or stationery. It is a quiet residential area for the most part, but the college crowd keeps things lively. The complex itself is an older building and we’ve been in this spot for some time now. We keep a variety of grocery items and daily necessities on our shelves. Coimbatore weather can be unpredictable, so we’re often dealing with the dampness or the heat. The shop is organized but it’s a tight fit with all the stock we try to carry. We don't have a fancy website or any marketing stuff. Most people find us because they live nearby or go to the college. We spend the day handling the inventory and chatting with the locals who stop by for their morning milk. It’s a lot of routine work, like cleaning the glass cases and making sure the prices are marked correctly. We don’t use any high-tech systems, just a simple ledger and a cash box. It is a straightforward business. We like the neighborhood and the people are generally friendly. It’s not a huge supermarket, but we try to keep the things that people actually use. Just a regular store in a regular part of Coimbatore.
