Shaaradha Metal Cutting Works

It is usually pretty loud over here at No. 58 R. K. Street in Kattoor. Metal cutting is a noisy business and there is always the sound of machines running in the background. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the cuts are where they need to be. The floors stay covered in small bits of metal shavings no matter how many times we try to sweep them up during the day. Working in Kattoor means we are around a lot of other shops and workshops so there is always someone moving something heavy nearby. We have been doing this for a good while and my hands are usually stained with oil or grease by the time lunch rolls around. The shop gets quite hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the roof but we just keep the fans going and stay at it. It’s not the cleanest kind of work but it is what we know how to do. Most of the people who come to us are looking for something specific for a project they are working on. We don't have a big office out front, just the workspace where all the actual cutting happens. R. K. Street is a narrow place and sometimes getting the trucks in and out to deliver the raw metal is a real headache. But we manage to get things moved around eventually so we can keep the machines fed and running.
