We’ve been here at 28/8 in Kanuvai for a long time. Most people know us because we are right near the Mask landmark. It’s a busy enough spot, but we like it. Karthika Food And Beverages isn’t anything fancy, just a place where we get things ready every morning. We start early, usually before the sun gets too hot. It takes time to set everything up and make sure the place is tidy. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We see the same faces walking by every day. It’s nice when people stop in for a minute or two. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the beverages and food items are sorted out. The address is easy to find if you are looking for it. We spend most of our time organizing the stock and keeping the shelves filled up. It’s steady work. Sometimes the weather makes things slow, especially when it rains hard, but we keep the doors open anyway. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us by walking past. We’ve got our routine down. It’s a simple business, nothing more than that. We just try to keep things moving and make sure we have what people are looking for. If you are ever near the Mask area, you’ll probably see our sign out front. We keep the floor swept and the counters wiped down. The morning air around here is usually quite fresh.
