Kani Water

Kani Water is situated at number 77 on Mangalam Road in Andipalayam. If you live around here, you’ve probably seen our trucks or walked past the building. We are in the business of supplying water, which is a very basic but busy job. Our day starts before most people are even awake because the water needs to be ready for the morning deliveries. The facility on Mangalam Road is where we do all the filtering and the bottling. It’s a wet and noisy place most of the time. We have the pumps running and the sound of the bottles being cleaned. We don't have any polished floors or expensive furniture. It’s a place meant for work. Andipalayam is a nice area, and we’ve gotten to know many of the residents who come by for their daily or weekly supply. Sometimes the traffic on Mangalam Road gets backed up, which can make it a bit of a challenge to get the delivery vans out on time. We don't worry about that too much, we just deal with it as it comes. There are only a few of us working here, so everyone knows how to do every job. We keep our records in a simple way and don't spend money on things we don't need. It’s just a local water business trying to do things right for the people who live nearby. We focus on the work at hand and don't worry about much else.
