Kanagabalan Store

Kanagabalan Store is located at 85, Narashimha Naiken Palayam, and we are right opposite the government school. Being near the school means things get really loud when the bell rings and all the kids come running out. We’ve been at this address, 85, for a long time. It’s a basic store, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it serves the people in Narashimha Naiken Palayam well enough. I spend my mornings mostly unpacking crates and setting things out. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy things and reaching for the high shelves. Sometimes the store feels a bit small when we have a lot of customers at once, but we manage to get everyone what they need. The government school across the street is a good landmark for people trying to find us. I see the teachers walking by every day and the parents waiting around in the afternoons. It makes the day go by faster having all that activity nearby. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the produce or the coins, but that’s just how it is when you run a place like Kanagabalan Store. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop here at 85 Narashimha Naiken Palayam. It’s honest work and we stay pretty tired by the end of the day, but that is just how it goes for a local shop owner.
