K S Salon

K S Salon is situated on Avarampalayam Road in Sidhapudur. The address is a bit confusing because it is New No 18/18 but used to be Old No 2/235, but most people in Coimbatore find us just fine once they are on that road. We are in the 641044 area. I started this salon because I like working with my hands and meeting different people every day. It is a decent sized space. We have a few stations set up for hair and grooming. Coimbatore is a busy city, and Sidhapudur is no different. There is always cars and bikes zooming past our door. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We do not use any high-end marketing tricks. We just show up, open the doors, and wait for the customers to come in. I have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the salon stays pretty much the same. We have some old posters on the wall and the same jars for combs. It feels like home to me. The staff and I are just regular workers. We do not wear uniforms or anything stiff. We just wear what is comfortable for working. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall nearby and we share a quick cup between customers. It is a simple life, really. I remember when the old sign was still up and things were a bit quieter on Avarampalayam Road. We have a small sink for washing hair that drips a tiny bit but it is okay.
