There is a lot of noise because of the machines and the metal. We do metal cutting, which is exactly what the name says. It’s heavy work and it gets dusty. We’ve been in this part of Ganapathy for a long time. People around here know where we are. Sivasakthi Colony has a lot of small businesses like ours. We don’t have a marketing department. We just have our equipment and our hands. Most days are spent measuring and cutting to the right size. It’s not something you can do quickly if you want it done right. We don’t make big claims about our mission or anything. We just take the orders and finish them. Sometimes the metal is hard to work with, but we manage. The heat in Coimbatore can make the shop feel like an oven sometimes. We just drink some water and keep at it. It’s an honest way to make a living. We know the other guys on the street.
