Jayakumar Store

Jayakumar Store is a local spot located at 145, Saravanampatti. We are pretty easy to find because we are right near the SBI Bank branch. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep it stocked with the things people in the neighborhood need on a daily basis. I’ve been here for a while, and most of the people who walk through the door are neighbors or folks living just a few streets away. It isn't a supermarket; it’s more of a traditional store where things are stacked on shelves and behind the counter. Sometimes the place feels a bit cramped when we get a new delivery in, and we have to shuffle boxes around to make space. We don't have a website or any of that, just the shop front where you can stop by and grab what you need. It’s mostly me or a couple of family members helping out. We talk to the customers about the weather or local news while we pack their bags. It’s a simple way to earn a living. The bank nearby brings in a lot of foot traffic, which is nice. We aren't trying to grow into a big chain or anything like that. We just want to keep the shelves full and the doors open for whoever needs some supplies. It’s just a normal, everyday business in Saravanampatti for regular people who live nearby.
