Jai Sree Driving School

We are located over at No. 183/10 on Arun Nagar, right on Thondamuthur Road. If you know where Chinmaya School is in Vadavalli, then you know where we are. It’s a pretty busy area. Our office is just a plain spot where we keep the car keys and the logbooks. Every morning we get the cars ready. The sun hits the street early here in Coimbatore. We spend most of the day out on the road, sitting next to people who are a bit nervous. You hear the gears grinding sometimes, but we just deal with it. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning and glass walls. We have some plastic chairs for when people come to talk about their license papers. Jai Sree Driving School has been a part of this neighborhood for a while. We know the local traffic patterns and where the potholes are. The desk is usually covered in forms and some old pens that barely work. We don't put on an act. It’s just practical work. Someone might be asking about the clutch while someone else is filling out a form for their learner's permit. We keep the windows rolled down most of the time to catch a breeze. By the time we finish, the cars are usually a bit dusty from the Coimbatore roads. We lock up and head out, usually when it's getting dark near the school. We try to keep the cars as clean as possible despite all the dust.
