Jaai Exim

Jaai Exim runs out of number 5 at Vkv Nest in the Ganapathy area. It’s a simple building and we’ve made ourselves at home on the ground floor. Ganapathy is always moving, but our little corner is where we keep our focus. The office is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of notebooks stacked up. We don’t have any big corporate signs out front. If you weren't looking for us, you might just walk right past. We spend the hours checking on shipments and making sure the export side of things is moving along. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a tie. Usually, we’re just in shirts and trousers, trying to keep cool when the afternoon heat kicks in. The space is a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around, but we manage. There’s a small tea shop nearby that we visit way too often. Most of the people around here are doing similar work, so there’s a sense of just getting on with it. We don’t try to pretend to be bigger than we are. We handle the orders as they come, talk to the suppliers, and make sure everything is boxed up correctly. It’s a routine that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we just wait it out and get back to work.
