Institute Of Hardware Technology

Our workshop is at 13-A, Single Street, in the Kolinivadi post area of Dharapuram. The Institute Of Hardware Technology is a small place tucked away on a quiet street. We have a lot of old computer towers and monitors stacked up in the corner. Most of them are for parts. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people are in the main room. We don't have any fancy furniture, just some sturdy wooden benches that have seen better days. The lighting is a bit dim, so we use desk lamps when we are working on the smaller parts. Being in Dharapuram means we know most of the people who come through the door. We aren't part of some big chain of stores. It’s just a local operation where we fix things and talk about hardware. The Single Street location is easy to miss if you aren't looking for the number 13-A. We have some old tools that have been with us since we started. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just wait it out. It’s a simple way to spend the day. We don't bother with marketing or anything like that. We just focus on the hardware we have in front of us. If you need something fixed or want to see how a motherboard looks, we are usually here. We have a small kettle for making coffee when it gets cold.
