Indian Society For Certification Of Organic Products

We operate out of the Rasi Building at No. 162/163 in the Ponnaiyarajapuram neighborhood. Our main focus here is dealing with organic product certifications for various groups. It’s mostly an administrative setup. You’ll find a lot of folders and stacks of papers on every surface because there is always something to be signed or reviewed. The building itself is quite central to this part of town, which makes it easier for people to reach us. We aren't a retail shop, so we don't have products on display. It’s more about the technical side of things. Some days are slower than others, depending on the season and how the farmers are doing. We’ve got a small team, and we’ve all been doing this long enough that we know the process. The street outside can get a bit noisy with the local traffic, but inside it stays mostly quiet. We have a small waiting area with a couple of old chairs, but most people don't stay long. They just drop off their documents and go. We spend our afternoons making sure the digital files match the physical ones we have in the cabinets. It's a lot of double-checking work, which can be tiring on the eyes after a few hours. We don't put up a lot of posters or decorations. We just keep the place functional so we can do our tasks without much distraction.
