Indo Asia Impex

Our office is tucked away at 236A on Chinnamuthu Main Street in E.K.Valasu. It’s not the biggest street in the world, and it can get pretty crowded with scooters and people going about their business. Indo Asia Impex has been here for years, and we’ve become a part of the daily rhythm of the neighborhood. We don't have a giant warehouse right here; instead, it’s more of a place where we manage the importing and exporting side of things. There’s a lot of paperwork involved, more than you’d think. We spend hours on the phone talking to people at the ports or checking on where a shipment has gone. The office is simple, with a few desks and a lot of files piled up. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking noise that drives us crazy, but we never seem to get around to fixing it. We drink a lot of tea from the stall down the street while we wait for emails to come through. It’s a practical business. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just try to make sure the stones get from one place to another without too many problems. Sometimes there are delays at the customs office or a ship is late because of a storm, and we just have to deal with it. It’s a bit stressful, but it’s the life we chose here in E.K.Valasu and we stick with it.
