You can find Index International at 79, Brindavan Nagar in Kavundampalayam. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now. Kavundampalayam is a decent place to be based, and Brindavan Nagar has a nice feel to it. We handle international business, which means we are often on the phone at odd hours or dealing with time zones that don't match ours. It can be a bit tiring, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. The office itself is pretty plain. We have our desks, our computers, and a lot of files. We aren’t interested in having a flashy workspace; we just need it to be functional. Most of our work involves a lot of back-and-forth communication. We have to be careful with the details, so we spend a lot of time double-checking everything. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just try to be reliable and get things where they need to go. Some days are slow and others are completely packed, but that’s just the way it is. We like being in a residential-style neighborhood because it keeps us grounded. It doesn’t feel like we are in a cold, industrial park. It’s just a normal building on a normal street where we happen to run an international business. We just take it one day at a time and keep moving forward with whatever the next order brings us.
