Greenpark Smart School

Greenpark Smart School is situated out in Alagumalai Village, specifically near the Velayuthampalayam Pirivu. It is a bit of a distance from the main hub of Tirupur, which makes it a quieter place for the students. The area around the school is mostly fields and open land. We have a few different buildings on the site for the various grade levels. The wind blows quite strong across this part of the village, especially in the evenings. We see a lot of students coming in from the surrounding rural areas every morning. Most of them arrive on the school buses that navigate the narrow roads around here. Inside the school, things are kept very practical. We have standard classrooms with boards and desks for everyone. Our office is just a small space where we keep the records and meet with parents when they visit. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all. We have a lot of local staff members who have been with us for years. We eat our lunch together in the shade of the trees when the weather allows for it. During the rainy season, the entrance can get a little muddy, so we have to watch our step. We just go about our business of teaching every day without much fuss. It’s a simple setup and everyone knows everyone else in the community. We don’t do things in a flashy way, we just keep the place running for the kids who live around Alagumalai.
