Greenline International

Our place, Greenline International, is located at No.6 in Mekkalathottam, over in Murungapalayam. It’s a bit of a tucked away spot, not right on the main road, but that works fine for us. We handle a lot of different things here. The name sounds quite big, but we’re just a regular crew working out of a modest building. There’s usually some activity going on with loading or checking through goods. The area used to be more open, hence the thottam in the name, but things have built up around us lately. We don’t have a fancy reception or a big sign. Most of the time we’re just in our work clothes making sure everything is sorted correctly. It gets a bit dusty sometimes, especially when the wind picks up across the open patches nearby. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and we’ve learned that things rarely go exactly as planned. You just have to deal with the delays and the small issues as they pop up. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time looking at invoices. It’s a practical kind of business. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just trying to get the shipments out and keep the lights on. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening most days. Sometimes we stay late just to finish off a pile of work that wouldn’t fit in the day. It’s just how things go.
