Galaxy Salon

Galaxy Salon is over at No.1, Bavalam Street in the Town Hall area of Coimbatore. Close to Annaporna, we are easy to find for most people. It’s a busy part of town. The shop is small but we keep it going every day. The pincode is 641001. Starting this place happened because we knew how to cut hair and wanted to stay in Town Hall. It’s a regular salon. Hair, shaves, and the usual things people ask for are what we provide. Not being part of any big group, we are just a local business on Bavalam Street. Most days start early and we stay open until the sun goes down. Drop-ins from the offices nearby happen often. It can get a bit crowded inside because it’s not a huge space. A few benches are there for people to wait on. Fancy brochures or a front desk person aren't part of the shop. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Coimbatore is a big city but this street feels like a small community. Being near Annaporna is good because everyone knows where that is. The focus is just on doing the work. Old but clear mirrors line the walls. Everyone leaving should be satisfied with the job. It’s just us doing our thing at No.1. Street noises of Town Hall come in whenever someone opens the door.
