G L Traders

Working out of Ganapathy Pudur has its own rhythm, and here at G L Traders, we are right in the middle of it. Our place is at number 42 on 6th Street. It’s a busy little area with a lot of coming and going. Most of our day is spent moving stock around and keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. The street is pretty narrow, so when the delivery trucks arrive, things can get a bit tight for a while. We know all the neighbors, and we usually wave to the folks passing by. The shop itself is packed with boxes, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of space, but we always find a way to make it fit. It’s a small team of us, and we don't really have set roles. If there’s a heavy box to move, we all pitch in. We drink a lot of tea from the place around the corner to keep our energy up. In the afternoons, when the sun is really hitting the front, we pull the shutters down a bit. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation. We just want to do our trading and keep things moving smoothly. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years because they know where we are on 6th Street.
