Everest Refrigeraation

Our shop, Everest Refrigeraation, is at 22, Ramanna Nagar on Tadagam Road. We are right across from Sharma Marble in Edayarpalayam. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always something going on outside. Inside the shop, it’s usually full of old fridge units and cooling coils waiting to be looked at. The air smells a bit like copper and refrigerant gas. We have tools spread out over the workbenches because we’re usually in the middle of three different things at once. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where every wrench is. The floor is tiled but cracked in a few spots from dropping heavy compressors. We get a lot of walk-in traffic because of the location. People bring in small parts or ask us to come out to their homes. The sun hits the front window in the afternoon, making it pretty warm, which is ironic for a refrigeration place. We usually have a pile of invoices on the counter that we need to file. It’s just a regular local shop where we put in our hours and go home. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a lobby. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently holding a soldering iron. We keep it simple because that’s what works for us and the people who live around here.
