We are tucked right behind the KGM Hospital in Chinniampalayam, so if you are looking for us, that is the easiest landmark to follow. The noise from Avinashi Road is pretty much a constant soundtrack to our work, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Our office isn't anything fancy; it’s just a place to store the tools, the safety gear, and the stacks of paper that come with any construction job. We spend a lot of time running back and forth from the hospital side over to the main road to meet delivery trucks. Chinniampalayam is a good area to be in, though the traffic can make you lose your mind if you aren't careful. Inside the office, the walls are a bit scuffed from moving ladders around, and there is always a layer of fine dust on everything no matter how much we clean. We aren't the type to sit around in meetings all day. We are usually out checking the concrete or talking to the plumbers. It is honest work that keeps us on our feet from sunrise until well after dark. We have a small kettle for making coffee, and that is about the only luxury we have in the office right now.
