Best Maligai

We are located at number 85 on Sengupta Street in the Ram Nagar area of Coimbatore. It is a good spot because we are directly opposite the Vijayalakshmi Trust which brings quite a few people into our part of the street. Coimbatore is known for its pleasant weather most of the time though it can get humid in the afternoons. Our shop is a traditional maligai store where we keep all the spices and grains needed for a South Indian kitchen. The smell of roasted coffee beans often lingers in the air around here. The shop is neatly packed but space is always a bit tight. We have been serving the Ram Nagar community for a long time and many of our customers are like family to us. We see them every day for their daily needs. The street outside is usually busy with motorcycles and people walking to the nearby offices. We start our day quite early to get the fresh stock ready before the first customers arrive. It involves a lot of weighing out portions and packing them into small bags. We don't use any modern fancy equipment just the basic scales and a calculator. The light in the store is a bit dim towards the back where we keep the bulk sacks of rice. It’s a simple honest business and we take it one day at a time without any rush.
