Assistant Purchase Officer

We work out of a small place at 185 Chinna Ellayai Lane in Coimbatore. This is where the Assistant Purchase Officer is located. It is a narrow lane, and it can be a bit hard to find if you are not from this part of Tamilnadu. We have been in this building for quite a while now. It is just a plain room with some old cupboards and a couple of ceiling fans that squeak a little when they are on. We don't have any big signs outside, just the house number 185. Most of the people who come here are suppliers or people we have worked with for years. We handle all the purchasing stuff from this desk. It is a lot of writing and checking lists. We don't have a fancy computer system, just some ledgers and a few basic tools. The area around here is pretty quiet, which is nice for getting work done. We don't really do any marketing or promotion because everyone who needs us already knows where we are. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the records straight. It is a very normal, everyday kind of job. We like the neighborhood and the people who live nearby. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during our break and just watch the street. It is a simple setup, but it is enough for what we do here. We are just regular people working in Coimbatore.
