Anantham Travels is right by the G P Bus Stop in Gandhipuram. If you know where the Kovai Two Wheeler Stand is, then you know exactly where we are. It’s a busy spot, maybe one of the busiest in Coimbatore, but it works for us. We deal with travelers all day long. Some are just passing through and others are planning long trips. The noise from the buses is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We have a small office where we handle all the bookings. It’s usually filled with the sound of the printer and people asking about schedules. We don't have much in the way of fancy furniture, just what we need to get the job done. Sometimes we share a bit of news with the people waiting for their rides. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We make sure the tickets are printed correctly and that people know which platform to go to. There’s no big secret to how we work; we just show up and help people get where they’re going. The heat can get a bit much in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running full blast. It’s a simple setup. We like being right in the middle of the action at Gandhipuram. It makes us feel connected to the city and the people moving through it every day. We just take things as they come.
