Arul Gas Cutting

Our shop is located at the Sengammal Colony Junction. It’s right on Nallampalayam Main Road in the Sanganur area of Coimbatore. We deal with metal and gas cutting mostly. It is a noisy place because of the tools and the traffic outside. If you are looking for us, we are at number 2. The workshop has been here for some time now. We handle whatever scrap or metal pieces people bring in. It’s greasy work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. There is no air conditioning, just the open air from the front. We start early when it is still a bit cool. Sometimes the work piles up, but we just go through it piece by piece. There are a lot of other shops nearby, so it’s a busy junction. Most people just pull up their trucks or bikes and drop things off. We don't do much talking, mostly just focused on the torches and getting the lines right. It's a basic setup with just the equipment we need. Sometimes the power goes out, which is annoying, but that's just how it is here. We aren't a big factory or anything, just a local spot for cutting work. If you need something done, you can usually find one of us hanging around the junction working on a piece of steel. It is hard work but it keeps us busy.
