Arga Agro Farms Private Limited

You can find us over at Lakshmi Nagar, right near the Shanthi Gears C Unit Road. It’s a busy little area in MG Pudur Post. Arga Agro Farms Private Limited started because a few of us wanted to do something local with the land around here. Our office at 1/501-D1 is usually cluttered with notebooks and bags of soil samples. It’s nothing special to look at, just a practical space where we get the day started. We spend a lot of time driving out to different farm plots and checking on how things are growing. Some mornings are quite early, starting before the sun is even fully up. We deal with various crops and try to figure out the best way to keep the pests away without spending a fortune. It’s a constant learning process, really. Sometimes a crop fails and we have to start over, which is frustrating but that’s just farming for you. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We're just a group of people who know a bit about the dirt and the plants. If you walk down the road toward the Gears unit, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded now. We focus on the daily chores, making sure the irrigation is working and the workers have what they need. It keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, and sometimes Sundays too if the rain is coming and we need to get things covered.
