We are up on the first floor at 14A, 9th Street in Tatabad, Coimbatore. It’s a decent spot in the city, 641012. Apolline Beverages Private Limited is our small beverage company. We aren't making millions of bottles a day, but we stay busy enough. Coimbatore has a certain way of doing business, and we try to stick to that—just hard work and staying practical. Our office is on a regular street, and we share the neighborhood with a lot of other small workshops and offices. We spend most of our time talking about recipes, sourcing ingredients, and checking on our distribution. The weather in Coimbatore is usually better than Chennai, but it still gets warm, so people are always looking for something to drink. We started this because we wanted to have a go at the beverage market ourselves. We don't have a big PR firm writing our stories. It’s just us, working out of Tatabad, trying to get our drinks into more local shops. Sometimes the stairs to the first floor feel a bit steep when we’re carrying samples up and down all day. We have a few people helping with the paperwork and a few more out on the field. It’s a simple setup. We don't make big promises. We just try to make a drink that we would want to buy ourselves. It’s a slow process growing a brand, but we’re taking it one day at a time here.
