Being right opposite the bus stand at No. 54 Main Road makes things pretty lively for us here at Angen Stores. Somanur is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. It's a handy spot for people waiting for their ride or just getting off work. We carry the usual things folks need on their way home. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into the shelves. It can get a bit cramped when a bunch of people come in at once after a bus arrives. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time now. The door stays open to catch whatever breeze we can get from the street. Sometimes the traffic noise is a lot, but you get used to it after a while. Most of our customers are locals who we see every couple of days. We don't do anything fancy, just keep the shelves filled and the place open. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. If you’re standing at the bus stand looking across the road, you’ll see our front. It’s easy to find. We try to keep things organized so people can grab what they need and go. It’s a busy life here in Somanur and we just fit right into the daily routine. We don't need much more than that.
