Amsamma Foods

We spend our days over on Cheyur Road at Sf 203/2F. This is where Amsamma Foods is based, right in Sembagoundampalayam. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say, but for us, it’s just home. We are in the Avinashi area, and the smell of food is usually pretty strong around here. We aren't a giant factory with robots. It’s mostly just people using their hands and simple machines to get everything ready. We started this because we knew how to make things taste right, and we just kept going from there. The kitchen area is where the real work happens. It gets hot and humid, especially in the afternoons, but we’re used to it. We spend a lot of time cleaning up, because working with food means you have to stay on top of that. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone in an apron heading to the back. We use local ingredients when we can, and we don’t overcomplicate the recipes. Sometimes we try something new and it doesn't work out, so we go back to what we know. It’s a lot of trial and error and a lot of standing on our feet. But seeing the finished products packed up and ready to go makes the long hours worth it. We just want to make stuff that people enjoy eating at their own tables.
