Kandasamy Chettiar Street is usually busy, and we’re right in the middle of it. We carry a bit of everything, from groceries to household items. It takes a lot of work to keep all those different sections organized, and sometimes a box might be left in the aisle for a bit too long while we’re stocking. We don’t have a polish or a corporate vibe. We’re just a bunch of people working hard to make sure the shelves aren’t empty. People from all over Noyyal come in, and we try to get them through the checkout as fast as we can, though sometimes we stop to talk for a minute. We don't use fancy slogans or big advertisements. We just rely on being there every day when people need us. The lighting is bright and the floors are plain, but it’s a practical place to shop.
