Sri Gongura Family Restaurant

Sri Gongura Family Restaurant is situated at 8-119-A on Rc Road in Tirupati. We are very easy to find because we are right near the Railway Gate. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of movement. You can hear the trains and the whistles throughout the day. We started this place as a spot for families to come and have a decent meal without too much fuss. It's a simple setup with tables and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. We get a mix of people. Some are locals from around Rc Road, and others are just passing through after getting off a train. They usually look tired and just want something hot to eat. We try to keep the place cool with the fans, but Tirupati summers are no joke. My cousin usually handles the counter while I stay in the back. We don't have a fancy menu with photos. It's just a list of what we have that day. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes by 2 PM if the lunch rush is particularly heavy. It’s a lot of work to keep a restaurant running seven days a week. We don't have a big corporate team behind us, just a few of us working together. We focus on getting the food to the table quickly. That's really the main thing we do here.
