Sri Balaji Restaurant

Our restaurant is inside Sri Balaji Residency, which is part of the Sri Balaji Bhavan building on Kalahasthi Road. We are right on Renigunta Road in Tirupati. It’s a very busy area because the Padmavathi Temple is nearby. A lot of pilgrims stop in after they visit the temple or before they start their journey. We have been here for a while and we see people from all over the country. The 517501 area stays active late into the night. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular restaurant for travelers and locals alike. We try to keep things clean and the food served fast because people are often in a hurry to catch a bus or go to the temple. My nephew helps me run the floor and we have a few cooks in the back who have been with us for years. We don't have a lot of decorations, just some pictures on the wall and sturdy tables. It gets a bit noisy when the crowds come in, but we are used to it. Renigunta Road is always full of traffic. We just focus on getting the plates out and making sure there is enough water on the tables. It’s a lot of work, especially during festival times, but we keep going. We are just a part of the residency building, easy to find if you're near the temple.
