If you head down Tiruchanoor Road in Tirupati, you’ll find us at Door No 2B. That’s where Rami Reddy Rayalaseema Vidya Samsthalu & Sree Rama Engineering Colleges is set up. It’s a long name, we know, but it’s what’s on the paperwork. The campus is right in the middle of everything, so there’s always a lot of movement. Students are constantly coming and going, usually looking a bit tired or carrying heavy bags full of books. The Tirupati sun can be quite something, so everyone huddles in the shade near the entrance between classes. We have the usual stuff you’d find in any engineering college—rows of desks, some lab equipment that has seen better days, and plenty of chalk dust. It’s not a shiny, new-build palace. It feels lived-in. The hallways can get a bit echoey when it’s quiet, but that doesn't happen often. Most of the staff here have lived in the area for years, so we’re used to the pace of Tiruchanoor Road. We deal with the usual daily things, like fixing a broken fan or making sure the water coolers are full. It’s a busy life for the faculty and the students alike. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place where people come to learn and get their work done. It’s a lot of routine, but it’s our routine here in 517501.
