Hotel Saravana Bhava

Hotel Saravana Bhava is on Sannidhi Street in Tiruchanoor. We are right on the road that leads to the temple, so we see a lot of pilgrims every single day. The atmosphere here in Tirupati is always a bit different because people are here for something important. You can hear the temple bells and the chants if you listen closely in the early morning. Our place is quite simple. We have rooms for families who are coming to visit the Goddess. It’s not a luxury hotel with a pool or a gym; it’s just a place to wash up and rest. The street outside is usually crowded with people buying flowers or walking toward the temple. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors because of all the foot traffic. The kitchen is busy from very early in the morning making coffee and breakfast for those who want to get to the temple before it gets too hot. The staff speaks a few different languages because guests come from all over India. We deal with the usual problems like leaky taps or noisy fans, but we try to fix things quickly. It’s a busy life being so close to a holy site. We don’t have much time for sitting around, as there is always someone checking in or a room that needs a quick scrub before the next family arrives. We just do our best to keep things moving.
